Meet Emerson.
See things differently.
Emerson Louise Ohlemann brings a photographer’s eye and a strategic communication background to brand, design and creative content.
Emerson Louise
Ohlemann
Photographer.
Designer. Storyteller.
Emerson graduated magna cum laude from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication. At the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, she received the Top Senior in Advertising 2025–2026 award.
Emerson started her photography business in 2018 at age 15, building a practice around people, places and the moments that connect them. Her photography has taken her across the United States and internationally, including Europe, the Middle East, Mexico and Canada.
Emerson’s portfolio connects photography, brand design and visual storytelling. Her experience spans agency content, campus-event promotion, resort creative work and study-abroad identity projects.
The Studio is KSIG Advisors’ marketing partner: a place to bring brand, image and content into one clear conversation. KSIG manages the engagement, and Emerson contributes creative services within the agreed scope.

It starts with
paying attention.
Emerson’s first creative thread was photography. Since 2018, she has photographed personal moments and built experience with clients in Washington and California. That foundation carries into her commercial creative work: noticing expression, setting, texture and the details that help an image tell a story.
Her event and wedding-planning experience includes the photography side of the occasion: considering the timeline, preparing a shot plan and coordinating coverage around the moments that matter.
Her personal photography lives on through Emerson’s Creatives. The Studio brings her brand, advertising and content experience into a business-facing setting.

to a connected idea.
Her portfolio includes agency photo and video contributions at Ellis Media, campus-event design for the Westmont Activities Council, and resort creative projects at Suncadia. A study-abroad program in Greece added identity and social storytelling work in a different cultural setting.
Across those roles, the formats change: a shot list, a merchandise photograph, an event poster, a feed layout. The throughline is the task of making an idea clear and visually consistent.

Her educational portfolio explores brand concepts, campaign thinking and visual systems. Those exercises are clearly distinguished from professional roles and commissioned work.
